Kanji characters have origins from outside of Japan, but used in conjunction with domestic hiragana and katakana characters, a distinct local culture of its own was created.
Making up this character for "samurai" are the characters for "people" and "temple", also meant to symbolize our desire to gather people with a high degree of knowledge and ability.

We feel that our desire to continue to sustain a culture of creation over time is also consistent with the meaning of the character for samurai.
